President's Message

Dear Bnei Yitzhak Family,

On behalf of the board of directors of Bnei Yitzhak, it is with great joy and gratitude to Hashem that we have appointed Rabbi Joey Mizrahi as the new Head Rabbi of Congregation Bnei Yitzhak.

Rabbi Mizrahi attended Mikdash Melech Yeshivah in Israel followed by Beit Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ. Rabbi Mizrahi is currently pursuing his masters in education from the Azrieli Graduate School at Yeshiva University. Rabbi Mizrahi also currently serves as the Middle School Religious Advisor at Magen David Yeshivah, where he has been teaching religious studies for the last 4 years. For the last 6 years, Rabbi Mizrahi was the head Rabbi of Young Shaare Zion and led one of the most successful young adult minyanim in our community.

Rabbi Mizrahi is well known throughout the community for his depth of Torah knowledge, warm personality, love of teaching, connecting and building meaningful relationships with all of his students and congregants.

We are fortunate and excited to have Rabbi Mizrahi lead our kahal and look forward to many years of success, Torah learning, spiritual and personal growth under his leadership.

We also want to thank Rabbi Joseph Beyda for his leadership and guidance of our kahal over the last 20 years. His immense dedication to Bnei Yitzhak and commitment to every congregant will surely be missed. We wish him much success and blessing in his new role as Rosh Yeshivah at Yeshivah of Flatbush High School.

Please join me in welcoming Rabbi Mizrahi along with his wife, Simi and children David, Menachem, Aharon, Valerie, Molly, Moshe, Adele, and Shaul.

We look forward to the Rabbi officially starting his new position right after Sukkot in early October.

Sincerely,
Solomon Fallas
President
